Will you be there
At the new beginning
Marked by the closing sun?
When the Sun just fades away.
They’ll say he had a good run
But it’s time for his rest.

Author of all Creation to take the reigns.
Shining glorious for all to see,
Revealing brilliant colors,
Dancing reflections upon the water.
No shadows are drawn from Thee.
When that time arrives,
Ushering in the tide of butterflies
Among the scent of flowers in full bloom.
Anticipating the day to arrive
Tranquility of a new world,
This will be the perfect day!
At home with God by my side.
Will you be there
When the Sun sets forever?
