Creation: indescribable beauty, God’s gift to us. Think about all that creation encompasses – mountains, trees, grass, flowers, the ocean, animals. There’s a variety of kinds of creation. Yet, everything falls under the category of one creation.
I used to have this idea that heaven would be full of people who were exactly the same. Everybody would do the same heavenly things at the same time — no individualism. Now I believe that perception to be false. Looking at the creation of the world indicates how God loves diversity. Yet, the creation of this world is under the sovereignty of the One True God. Creation obeys to the command of the Creator, except for man. He was created differently. Created in the image of God, he is given free will to choose to obey the Creator or walk apart from Him.
In the End Times, God will sort out those who walked with Him and those who did not. It is not based on performance, for no man can be accepted by the Creator based on deeds. Sin made that impossible. Reliance on God’s Son, Jesus, is the only way to know the Creator.
This is where the One is truly glorified. As true believers in Jesus, we surrender to the authority of the One True God. We will have one Holy Spirit, one Savior, and one Father. All three persons make up a single being, the One True God. Heaven will be a place where all the true believers will use their God-given talents to bring honor and praise to the One True God. Heaven will be a place where true community will take place, where different people with different talents will work together to bring glory to our King, as He weaves a tapestry of different fabrics and colors in His heavenly creation. And we will hear God say, “With you, I am pleased.” Upon hearing God’s praise, our souls will be like a spring of water bubbling over in joy. So even though we won’t all be exactly the same, we will all bring corporate praise and honor to our One King.
Psalm 96:13
Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.
