To Find the Presence of the Heavenly Father

Why would I start a public blog?

My writing began after my Dad suddenly passed away in 2016. My Dad loved to fish and over his lifetime of fishing, he accumulated his favorite fishing stories. So I started writing down a few of his stories. My Mom loved to read them and it helped to bring Dad’s memories back.

Through the process of writing these memoirs for my Dad, I found a love of my own and that was writing. I also have a greater love, to know my Heavenly Father. Over the last few years, I have combined my love of writing and knowing my Heavenly Father into short devotionals, usually not more than one page. My mother-in-law encouraged me to post my devotionals to a blog page so that I could distribute them out to wider audience.

I write because I love to, I also write to know both of my fathers, earthly and heavenly.
